What is the best system i can get a DVD player and five speakers with 1200 watts, for about $ 500
I want a new home theater system, but I am confused about which is better, please can someone help me choose, I need about 1200 watts and an integrated DVD player and five speakers and a sub power. If you have a system with amazing sound and thundering database you are very impressed with please let me know, thank you. PS If you know what is so special about Panasonic 360 Surround ", let me know, and is it worth it.
Panasonic is good, but not the best IMHO, but for $ 500, you're limited to one or another quality or quantity, not two. When you are looking for power, do not consider saying (total 1,200) watts, focus (ie 100 is a good amount of your price point) and watts per channel into 8 ohms. Look to Onkyo (do not come with an integrated DVD player), Yamaha (comes with a reader DVD, but not integrated), JVC, Denon, Harmon / Kardon for a complete system that is as close as possible to what you want to accomplish. It is virtually impossible meet your criteria, but perhaps your best chance is to find unique offerings on the auction sites online (eBay, Ubid, AudiogoN, etc..)
