Specifications: The 40RV525R Toshiba LCD HDTV is one of the latest models of the range HDTV from Toshiba. This is a 40-inch TV that sports several new and enhanced features. It comes with a 10bit video processor and a 60Hz scan rate. It has an 8 second highest response pixel and when the movie mode, play videos at 24 frames per second. It comes with 3 HDMI inputs, 2 HD component inputs, one analog audio output, Dolby Digital and many others. It is also an effective model of energy as it is Energy Star Compliant 3.
Design: Measures 40RV525R Toshiba HDTV LCD 25 x 39.2 x 3.2 inches and weighs 39.3 kilograms. This model sports more traditional design. It has the usual black box Bright external and relatively small black rectangular stand. Personally, I prefer the sharper designs, but works again that for simplicity many people. The speakers are located just below the screen, hidden behind a thin strip along the stretches of HDTV.
Features and performance: This new model incorporates DynaLight Backlight Control which automatically adjusts the rear-lights of each video frame to produce smooth transitions to create realistic detail and deep blacks. There is also a Color Temperature Control feature that lets you adjust color temperature according to lighting conditions in the room. The game mode works very well on most of our games too. Overall, buy 40RV525R new Toshiba LCD HDTV is good for those who want a simple, medium, no-frills LCD HDTV. It is the price and comes with a good set of features which provides a pleasant visual experience.
