it is better to buy a Mac or HDTV?

depends on how bad you need / want each. make a list of pros and cons of having each. also consider how much is can do with a computer rather than a television. it all comes down to what your personal priorities and it is a very subjective matter. Plasma HDTV vs Old Tube TV …?

I currently have a 27 "TV tube that has served me well since 1997 when I bought it again … I now have the opportunity to purchase a 42 "plasma … not the best of my cable service" immediately "for the HD package because not watch much television, per se, but would play on the PS3 and watching Blu-ray … I see many comments that plasma HDTV quality picture mediocre, if not see the HD channels … OK, now the real question: Is the plasma TV picture is better than what I have now because of new technology, or the old tube TV perform just as well see the normal channels??

Using an HDTV (LCD or plasma) to see non-HD TV channels can result in a little "blurred image", because any entry luxury HDTV video at its native resolution. This may result in the image either be "hairy", as if you took a picture on your computer and blew it up. Even without upgrading cable service, you really are getting some HD channels now. Just as the cable company must carry all local channels (NBC, CBS, FOX, etc) should also lead to local and high definition digital channels as well. So if you have your new TV for the channels not only get the normal channels (eg, "3") but also things like 3.1, which in most cases is the HD version (for example, NBC-HD) However, if you wanted things like Food Network or Discovery Channel in HD, then you might want to upgrade their cable subscription.

HDTV: Plasma vs LCD?

I have heard that plasma HDTVs are not manufactured by Sony and other electronics manufacturers. If this is true, would better off investing in a large LCD screen instead of spending my money on a plasma?

Over the years, computers have become an important part of people's lives. After all, where before, people only use computers for accounting or performance reports, people now turn to them for all sorts of entertainment. Computers can be easily customized and upgraded, too. In fact, many computer accessories you can add or attach to your computer to customize or keep up with the times. The HDTV tuner card is one of these accessories, and one is rapidly becoming popular television programs as a path to HD.

What are the cards HDTV tuner? HDTV tuner cards are devices that receive high definition signals, including MPEG-2 packets encoded then transmitted to an application software. Thus, work the same way as HDTV tuner boxes or Set-Top-Box (STB) that receive HD signals and displays them on your HDTV screen. Cards HDTV tuner STB are different in many respects, though, mainly due to the HDTV tuner cards are inserted or attached to a computer, while a STB connects directly to the HDTV monitor. They are better in some respects, too.

First, the tuner card hdtv allows to record and pause high-definition content – a feature that few high-end STB currently offered.
